I purchased these handgrips primarily to workout whilst watching TV, and they really are up to the job. These handgrips give a sound muscle toning workout to the forearms, without the need for going out of your way to use them. My one criticism is that a day after my first use of them, my palms felt tender and lightly bruised. This did not have a real impact and after about five days of using them, my hands started to adjust to using them, and now I have no trouble with them at all.I feel very happy with my purchase.

I went straight away for the extra strong just for the hell of it and I would have been disappointed if I have bought the strong ones. Go for the extra strong and this is a great product so its worth buying to increase your grip strength and toning your forearms.

I bought the York Handgrips for my dad who suffers from MS, as his hands feel numb at times he feels that excercising them helps them and this product does the trick.

He uses them every day now and say's that his hands are definately a lot stronger than before.
