5 out of 5 stars Excellent value   January 29, 2006

These headphones are excellent value for the money. Great sound reproduction and comfortable even after 3 hours. The Volume control and mono / stereo switch on the lead as advertised was not present but that was no problem as remote control is on my Creative Inspire P5800 speakers giving volume and base control. Verdict; Well worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars They Do Exactly As Described   October 12, 2009

I bought these for my young son (11 years old) as he was going through cheap headphones for his iPod and PSP at the rate of a pair a month and I have not been disappointed with the quality of them yet but its exactly what I would expect of a Sony branded product. The sound quality is superb and the best bit about them is I cannot hear them when my son is listening to his iPod so that wins every time.

The headband adjusts so that it fits all head sizes and the ear pads are very comfortable.

I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a good set of headphones at a reasonable price.

5 out of 5 stars Just as good as MDR V300   March 11, 2008

About 2 years ago i purchased the more expensive MDR V300 sony headphones and was extremely impressed with the quality. Everything i would want from a pair of headphones. Excellent sound quality with nice deep bass.
However, one unfortunate evening a drunken friend sat on my lovely headphones and snapped off the right earpiece. I purchased the MDR V150 as a replacement, and i am pleasantly suprised that the sound quality is indistinguishable.
A good buy if you aren't looking to spend too much on headphones for everyday computer/commuting use.

Can be uncomfortable on the old ears, but they soon loosen up.

All in all; Goodtimes.

For the price you pay, you can't go wrong. These headphones are comfortable, durable and the sound quality is good enough. If you're looking for a cheap set of headphones, look no further. No complaints here!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent headphones at a great price.   August 23, 2010
Mr. Soap
Over the years I've struggled with headphones; the sound wasn't great, leads were short, too flimsy etc. but these MDR-V150's are excellent.

I picked them up here very cheap (compared to 10 euros more in one of my local stores) and am delighted with them.

They offer great sound, are light to wear and the cable is sufficently long to use with televisions, computers and of course, DJ systems. I found the sound to be really great and watching movies/playing video games has been a joy. I understand they're DJ headsets but they suit me to the ground.

Cons are minor: the headphones can be hard to 'break' in; I found they were tight at first but quickly adjusted and the cable can be a nusiance sometimes with its length but these are extremely minor quibbles.

For £9.49, you really can't go wrong.
