Delighted with this smart, modern all in one music machine. The CD and the sound quality were the two most important things I needed and finally chose this Panasonic.This was against Roberts (disappointing sound quality for similar cost, slightly hissy too),Pure, Sony & Teac. Apart from everything working beautifully, with no background noises, the design also merits a mention. It is very smart. Its very thin design has won a European award for the general and sound quality for its size and it does live up to this, particularly considering it is not a separates hifi system. There are 5 sound settings to alter according to the style of music, or vocals, you are playing, as well as other buttons to attune the sound to your personal taste. The silver panel you see at the front is a clever sliding door to reveal either the Ipod or CD slots. The remote behaves well and instructions were perfectly clear and can be used across a large room. Amazon had the best price at the time of writing, but it is a new product and the price may drop in time. Note that there is also a DAB version for another £40, but we won't need DAB until 2015, so no rush unless you particularly want this.

Quality compact system:
Simple and slim system with AM/FM radio, CD and docks the iPod touch.
Good quality sound from the 30 watt speakers.
Excellent system to use with the iPod touch; slick and discrete docking.
Easy to use remote control for all of the functions, even the iPod.

This is a fantastic little stereo, very portable. The sound is unbelievable for such a small device. Excellent stylish looks, playback is brilliant and remote response is very good. IPOD mode works very weel as does cd playback. Radio functionality is great too. Recommended product :)

Searched everywhere for a compact stereo for my living room.
Came across this Panasonic unit on Amazon and liked the look of it straight away, from the compact size to the sliding door mechanism for either ipod or cd and a great sound to boot.
Would recommended this item 100 per cent.

Smart and sophisticated, this hi-fi is a great way of playing your iPod or CDs, which hide away behind the central sliding door and are then opoerated using the remote control. Great sound from a good looking system. Choosing this version, which has AM/FM radio but not DAB, can save you money if you don't need the DAB. If you do, go for the HC3 with DAB Panasonic HC3DBEB 40W DAB Micro Hifi System
Overall, a very satisfied customer.
