Wowwww EXTREMELY FANTASTIC !!!!! This is my first time buying laptop through online and I am really satisfied with both the amazon and the toshiba. Firstly, I really doubted buying an expensive electrical thing online; but finally, I am really satisfied. This Toshiba satellite is perfect, I haven't got any problem until now. Additionally, Amazon is really reliable to buy this expensive product. So, I highly recommend to anyone who want to buy laptop online, just order it from amazon, it is cheaper and fast =)

I've been using this laptop pretty heavily for the past month and am impressed. It replaced a higher-spec (in many respects) Toshiba A300, which needs repair, and the biggest improvement between the two seems to be Windows 7 over Vista. In fact, when I get the A300 fixed I shall upgrade to 7. It runs quickly and smoothly and has many features which make life more comfortable. Two small examples, under Vista I used 3rd party applications for being able to take screen shots (MW Snap) and to be able to move icons of open programmes to where I wanted them in the taskbar (Taskbar Shuffle), but both of these are built in to Win 7. Minor details, yes, but it seems to indicate a certain level of thought and responsiveness to the requests and needs of users.

As for the laptop itself, an extra USB port would be welcome (it has 3) and I wish it had a proper 'line in', but then so few computers seem to have that now.

I'm getting to like the Tosh way of doing things. A better product than most.
