The sandbox is big enough for both boys to play together or side by side. I love the cover and that it looks like sand, so there is no watching colors fade over time. They even enjoyed turning the lid upside down and playing in the lid. The lid was light enough that they could remove it and put it back on their own. The corners and edges were strong enough for them to sit on. I wish there was a way to hold the lid on so it doesn't blow away in the strong winds. Other than that, the sandbox is wonderful. The lid fits perfectly on top when we are finished. And it holds a lot of sand AND his toys we play with in the sand box. Even when we finish, the toys fit inside with the lid. He is a typical, active 3 year old, and it has held up to everything he has thrown it. At one point, he and his toys, and my 38 pound border collie were all inside. Great product!
