Customer Rating: Summary: Worked fine at the start.... Comment: It worked fine at the start but within a week individual ports ceased to function (so far 2). Although I have populated all the ports most are not in constant use (Camera, GPS, Palm PDA, SD-reader). Seems like this should be able to handle all of this. Amazon replaced it but I'm still worried that the new one wont be any better.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome little hub!! Comment: This is a neat and small little hub that looks great! Works well, I've been using for approx. 6 weeks and it's gr8!
Customer Rating: Summary: Reliable and Sturdy USB hub Comment: Purchased the USB hub a month back, and it has been plugged into my Mac for the same duration. During this time, I have had no problems or issues with the product. My only real concern with the product is trying to get the product to stay on the table... as the product is light and while the product seems sturdy, the main USB attached to the device seems to drag the USB hub off the table. I considered putting the usb hub on the floor, however, decided against that as it would make plugging new devices in a hassle. Overall a good and affordable hub, however, wish it would heavier for the purpose above.
Customer Rating: Summary: USB Port Comment: The device works great for my basic computer needs of multiple USB ports. Very cost effective device.
Customer Rating: Summary: Solved a lot of Problems Comment: I love my IMac more than anything, but could sure use more USB ports. This item solved a lot of problems. Also, Macs have the ports in the back and I was always struggling to turn my computer around without actually knocking it over (24" monitor can be awkward as can I). Inexpensive, reliable solution.

The D-Link DUB-H7 2.0 is a hi-speed USB 2.0 7-port hub that is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1. It provides an out of the box industry standard that allows connection of up to seven USB peripherals or devices to your USB ready PC or Mac. The D-Link DUB-H7 is targeted at PC and Mac users that are expanding the number of USB ports on their system.Designed to provide quick and easy access, the D-Link DUB-H7 provides seven type "A" downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals, devices, or other USB hubs. A single type "B" upstream port connects the DUB-H7 to the host computer or another USB hub, enabling up to 127 devices to be connected by cascading multiple hubs. Configured directly by the operating system, the D-Link DUB-H7 operates seamlessly with both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh Operating Systems. As a standard USB hub, the D-Link DUB-H7 buffers USB data from any attached peripheral in compliance with USB specifications to provide an invisible extension of the USB bus. Supporting both low speed (1.5Mbps and 12Mbps) and hi-speed (480Mbps) devices, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer.Diagnostic LEDs provide port status for each port and power status.
