Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Fun and addictive Comment: I've been playing it for a few hours and I'm hooked. It is a non-realistic physics racing game, but that's the fun part. You get this "boosts" that last for a few seconds and propel you at 200mph. They're really fun. The landscape is amazing, even though I'm using and old RCA tube in 480p setting. Still the game looks great. Way better than the xbox console I used to have. I like the realistic crashes, in slo-mo. Awesome crap. Customer Rating: Summary: It's Okay! Comment: I will admit I am not a fan of racing type games, mainly due to getting motion sickness. This game is too bouncy for me, and I just did not find it that fun. I don't like trying to race in the dirt and mud. I don't care for all of the slow motion drama either. The game also takes too long to load!! Customer Rating: Summary: Good controls but bad Ai Comment: Game is fun in the beginning when it is beatable but later the opponents will not try to win in favor of stopping you from winning. They will slow when you are stuck behind them. Also the menu selection process is slow and non intuitive. I could not figure what I was suppose to do. Do you have to come in first on all races etc? Loading and selecting the vehicles was slow. I could not finish as it got too difficult and frustrating and repetitive. Customer Rating: Summary: Fun so far Comment: The graphics are great and game play is fun. Tried to use the sixaxis with no real success. Was able to use it as long as I made sure I kept the controller level front to back. If it is not level you will start to nose dive or back flip when in the air. I usually play laying in bed, so it is hard to keep the controller flat. The mud splatter can get rather annoying at times, but I guess that is what it is meant to do. I have not played it an extreme amount yet. So I cannot complain about redundancy. Customer Rating: Summary: Motorstorm Review Comment: I was not as impressed as I thought, but I am more of a FPS type gamer. I did like the graphics, but the action was a bit slow and the engines blew up too much. Graphics do show damages to vehicle as you play, but the tickets you have to buy to drive in certain events seem silly. Get this game if you are a true racing game fan, but I would recommend MX vs ATX more. More Reviews
