Customer Rating: Summary: boston acoustics Comment: it does everthing i had hoped for and more. volume control from the tv remote. even turns itself off. just hang it on the wall and plug it in. sounds great.Boston Acoustics TVee Powered Soundbar Speaker System with Wireless Subwoofer (Black)
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent sound in a small room Comment: This Boston Acoustics soundbar provides sound so superior to that from the Television itself, without cluttering my small den with all the speakers and wires that would be part of a surround system. Installation was very easy, and I achieved what I had hoped to achieve without a substantial investment.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sounds good, but....... Comment: The sound bar took a whole five minutes to set up. Sounds great too. Now i know though what other reviewers meant about the ability to adjust the sound with the tv remote. It only works from about four to five feet away. Any farther and you need to get up and walk up to just in front of the speaker to adjust the sound. It's a pain really and i wouldn't have bought if I would have realized how annoying this is. Your choice, sounds great, remote distance a pain.
Customer Rating: Summary: Everything and More Than I had Hoped For! Comment: This was my third attempt at purchasing a sound system for my 52" Samsung LCD HD TV. I tried the Bose 3-2-1 system and the Yamaha Sound Bar. The Bose sounded like an old transistor radio which completely surprised me. I own two higher end Bose systems that are awesome. The Yamaha just didn't get it. I didn't like a second remote and a wired sub-woofer. Anyway, I read about the BA TVee and gave it a try. It delivered just as described. I love being able to use my TV remote to control the sound bar and the wireless sub-woofer is excellent. But what really pleased me was the sound delivery. It enhances the vocals and doesn't over project all the unwanted background sound effects that are extremely annoying. I've used it with Blu-Ray DVD's as well and once again it sounded awesome. You can hear people speaking clearly without all the background noise competing with it. But at the same time the background sound is clear and sounds great, just not overwhelming. The sub-woofer works and sounds great too. I'm just extremely pleased with this sound bar. It's inexpensive, easy to install, and sounds and works great!
Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for Non Audiophiles Comment: I purchased a reconditioned TVee2 locally. I needed it because the speakers in the TV I bought were extremely wimpy. My wife didn't want speakers and wires all over the room. The TVee was very easy to set up. There is not audio output on my TV so I have the TVee plugged into the earphone jack and it works great. It's perfect for people who don't need a complete surround sound system and don't expect one at this price. I am able to control the sound level for up to 15 feet. That should be enough distance to work for most rooms.
