Customer Rating: Summary: Hard Comment: This was a little hard for my son but a good learning experience. It was shipped and arrived as promised. Thanks.
Customer Rating: Summary: after patch and price drop, this game is an excellent bargain Comment: basically this is a g-rated GTA. it's an upgraded port to tide you over until gta4. the bug freezes and things were fixed and price dropped dramatically very quickly before i picked it up, making it a bargooon.
anyway, if you like gta, or have kids not old enough to play gta, this game is possibly for you. same style, same basic sandbox world, map, missions, just minus the sex, weapons and killing.
since it's open-world sandbox, the game can take awhile, and that's a good thing. there are plenty of side missions for you, things to collect and accomplish for 100% completion if you're into that sort of thing. be very careful though, there are some easy things to miss for 100% -- i missed the 2nd lawn mowing job near the retirement home.
here's a 100% guide:
* Complete all Main Story missions (excluding "The Big Prank")
* Pass all Classes
* Collect all 75 Rubber Bands
* Collect all 40 "G&G" Cards
* Collect all 6 Transistors
* Destroy all 25 Gnomes
* Destroy all 19 Tombstones
* Destroy all 27 Pumpkins
* Complete all 6 "A Little Help Missions"
* Fail five classes and earn the Dunce Cap
* Pull the Fire Alarm 20 times and earn the Firefighter Helmet
* Run 41.84 kilometers to earn the Running Shorts
* Ride a Bike 100 Kilometers to earn the Spandex Bike Shorts
* Buy 100 Sodas to earn the Free Soda Reward (all Sodas will be free for the rest of the game)
* Drink a total of 500 Sodas (bought or picked up) to earn the Two-Can Hat
* Successfully complete the "Penalty Shots" mini-game once
* Successfully complete the "Keep-Ups" mini-game once
* Defeat the Pirate on the southern part of the large island at Bullworth Lake to get the Pirate Hat
* Complete five levels of Boxing at the Glass Jaw Boxing Club (Old Bullworth Vale)
* Take all pictures for the Yearbook and unlock the Black Ninja Outfit
* Complete all Go-Cart Races (Carnival and City Races)
* Complete all 14 Bike Races
* Complete at least 30 errands (some say 38, there are actually a total of 51)
* Complete all 6 levels of Lawn Mowing (2 locations)
* Complete all Paper Route levels
* Ride all 3 Carnival rides
* Win at all 4 Carnival games at least once
* Purchase all clothing in the souvenir tent (with tickets)
* Get high score in Consumo, Nut Shots and Monkey Fling arcade games
* Buy all clothing in the game (should be around 333, there may be 334 if you do 1000 knockouts - but that's not necessary)
* Unlock all 5 Save Houses

Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty Good, Best on XBOX 360 Comment: I own this game for both XBOX 360 and PS2. I have to say the 360 has far better gameplay. Most of the missions seems the same, but for some reason the controls seem more natural on the 360. The graphics are of course way better, as they should be considering I'm using a HDMI connection.
Overall, the game is fun, makes you think a little bit, and has lots of main and extra missions.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good and BAD! Comment: Let me start off by saying that i had NEVER played any of the previous BULLY editions before. I bought this game because it got my atention, i mean who would'nt want to go to highschool again and get into all that trouble for at least an hour a day, that's why it's a very cool, well thought out game, i must admit, this is just another gem in ROCKSTAR'S case of precious creations. Then comes the BAD part, i had NEVER used the XBOX Live service before and so i did, i connected my console to the internet via my switch and i was soon downloading demos and other stuff when i find that, since i was connected to the internet, i could download an update for this game, well i did...and for 6 days i could not play the game itself because of the patch that i came to find out ROCKSTAR had developed because of some glitches in the game itself, the glitches before the patch were choppy sound, unsynched audio, and other typical stuff, but as soon as i downloaded the PATCH, it all went down the crapper, it would not load, it would get stuck, anything but play, so i just put it back in the box and forgot about it. After about 6 days, i tried it once again and it worked like a chram, really good to. Now i have been playing it once again and for hours on end on the weekends and it's just a great game, a definite must have.
Customer Rating: Summary: Worth the Money? Comment: Yes! I purchased this game (I'm an adult female of 24 years old) and I have yet to put it down. Here's some pros and cons for the readers of this review...
Pros:
#1. This game is one of the few that really make you think. I was a fan of Grand Theft Auto IV as well but while this could be a long distance relative to that game, Bully has a bit more than your regular shooting and killing game. As Jimmy, you have to go to the classes in order to graduate the school. Now, I've been out of school for a couple of years now and some of them really make you ponder. English and Math were the hardest ones and I still haven't beaten the final Biology class.
#2. This game has a "T for Teen" rating but I wouldn't have given it that. The only thing that might make parents a little wary is the fact that once you reach level 3 you have the ability (ability meaning "you can but don't have to") kiss other boys. Other than that fun little tidbit, the weapons are child based. Sling shots, stink bombs, itching powder, potato launcher, etc. etc. In fact, when you shoot another kid with your slingshot (if you shoot a child or girl, you are immediately "punished" by the man)they are knocked out instead of killed like in other games. I would be completely comfortable letting my 10 year old nephew play this game without any worries.
#3. The tasks are relatively easy. Even though the game doesn't offer an "easy, medium, hard" choice, the missions are somewhat easy to figure out. Again, another plus for small kids (or adult women whose last game she played was Donkey Kong on the Super Nintendo).
Cons:
#1. Loading Time. The loading time on this game is a big buzz kill. I'm not a fan of loading times at all but Bully seems to overdo it by alot. Everytime you enter into a building it loads? That's quite alot when you are on a mission and you have to enter four or five different buildings and everytime you walk through a door you have to sit through a 30 second to a minute worth of loading time.
#2. Glitches. There are quite a few of them in this game. Little things where your school clock doesn't show up and then you get busted for violating curfew. Another one is where you swing at an offender and for some reason or another you don't connect. That one usually shows up in missions and you either have to start the mission over or turn your game off all together. Maybe it's me but that does seem to irritate me.
#3. Some of the classes are too hard. I know in my pro section I said that the classes teach you and that it is good for you but come on people? 2 and a half minutes to disect a pig into seven pieces?? I still can't beat that biology class. Arggh!
All in all? I give Bully an A-. Easily one of the best games I have seen but there are a few minor issues that cause some irritation.

The Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking, original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling invades an entirely new setting: the schoolyard.
As a mischievous schoolboy, you'll stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy - a corrupt and crumbling prep school with an uptight facade.
The story follows 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins, a teenager who's been expelled from every school he's ever attended. Left to fend for himself after his mother abandons him at New England boarding school of Bullworth Academy to go on her fifth honeymoon, Jimmy has a whole year at Bullworth ahead of him, working his way up the social ladder of this demented institution of supposed learning, standing up for what he thinks is right and taking on the liars, cheats and snobs who are the most popular members of the student body and faculty. If Jimmy can survive the school year and outsmart his rivals, he could rule the school.
Ready yourself for a hilarious return to campus living with Bully, the outrageously funny game title for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
