At it's easiest, you can trust Intelligent Auto Mode to take a great picture most of the time. But it's also very user-friendly and I'm quickly learning to go beyond the basic settings and play with other modes, functions and settings. The shots are great quality and look fabulous online or printed. The instruction manual is very easy to follow and learn from when you are ready to get into some more advanced operations. I would highly recommend this camera as a tool for beginners that are interested in starting with something not overly complicated, but that also offers the capacity to learn and grow.
