Customer Rating: Summary: I'm Impressed, I'm Cheap, I'm Listening, I'm Happy! Comment: After my home phone broke, I was looking for a cheap replacement. Like most households now are not using their home phones, I still keep a home phone just in case, and talk to the occasional telemarketer that get passed the Do Not Call list(j/k) Well I was looking for reliable, caller ID, high frequency that won't interfere with my wireless network, Back lit, and most importantly Cheap. I have purchased V-Tech before and had no problems. At first I was skeptical but I have come to give some cheaper brands a try. It is easy to set up. The buttons are nice and big, Caller ID back lighting is great, enough to see when it rings in the dark. It does not interfere with my wireless network which is important cause we have 4-6 computers/laptops connected. The sound is clear and crisp. You cannot go wrong with this phone and its price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love the little thing Comment: My 15 year old Radio Shack cordless died so I got this one VTech CS5111 as a replacement. I also have 4 other cordless telephones in use throughout the home and external buildings. The Vtech is equal to or better than all of them. I found the audio normal and the phone comfortable to my ear. It is very simple to operate. I would certainly buy one again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Doesn't offer what box says Comment: The box picture shows "voicemail". However, there is no voicemail setup. Disappointed & now I have to pay for it to be returned. (was a cheapie phone too) Unless it is for your basement-don't bother.
Customer Rating: Summary: Phone user Comment: This is a low quality phone. The phone design is poor, it will hurt your ear and voice quality is bad, volume is low ... Maybe the price is low too!
Customer Rating: Summary: Mother-in-law Gift Comment: The phone was just as I had expected. My mother-in-law was able to use it without a lot of explanation. It was very important to find her something she could easily use.

Keep in touch with family and friends with the VTech CS5111 Cordless Phone with Caller ID. The system has English, French, and Spanish language voice menu prompts for almost unbelievably easy use. The backlit keypad makes it easy to enter phone numbers or access features in any light setting. With 9 Speed Dial locations and 20-number phonebook directory, you can add the phone numbers of your favorite friends and family for easy dialing. An LCD screen on the handset lets you see the phone number you've dialed and is also compatible with Caller-ID and Call-Waiting display. A flashing light on the base and handset silently alerts you when you have messages waiting on your voicemail. And this phone won't interfere with your wireless Wi-Fi networks.
Voicemail waiting indicator Green backlit keypad and display Handset volume control Last number redial - quickly redial the last 5 numbers called Trilingual prompts - choose between English, Spanish or French Page/handset locator Selectable ringtones Wall mount bracket included Comfortable handset size Wi-Fi friendly
