Don't know why you can't get a topo version. Customer Rating: Summary: Why would you pay more? Comment: This is your basic GPS device that is user friendly, reliable. We're sure there are devices with more features but at our age we're happy just to know how to get there. It doesn't say "recalculating route" if you go wrong or change plans therefore you might not know right away that you missed a turn.
