Customer Rating: Summary: I had read some of the reviews on Amazon and I bought the product. I Love it!! It stands up to the reviews I read. Comment: [[ASIN:B0014UOJM0 Pioneer DV-410V Multi-Format 1080p Upscaling DVD Player Featuring HDMI]
I had read the reviews on this product and they convinced me to buy it from Amazon. It stands up to all the reviews I have read. Great product....Great deal. It does everything it says it can do and more.
Customer Rating: Summary: Get This Player!! Comment: I purchased this DVD player from Amazon last Monday and received it last Wednesday. This is the easiest product I have ever hooked up - all I had to do was attach the HDMI cable to the back of the player and the back of my new Sony XBR6 and off she went! The set-up menu was extremely easy and I'm quite happy with the quality of the picture. For those of you who are not too technically savvy (like myself) but want to upgrade your DVD player inexpensively, by all means get the Panasonic DV-410V-K!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not 100% Impressed Comment: I bought the player for upconversion but IMO the DVDs still look like standard def. Granted the picture is clear but the picture looks no where near HD/1080P. I get over the air HDTV signals that look better then the upconverted DVDs. I am using it through HDMI with a Th42pz80U.
I adjusted the picture the best I could and do have the DVD player set to 1080P out. That being said, trying to get the best picture b/w the amount of settings b/w the HDTV and DVD player can be difficult. I would like to get an ISF calibration but dont find the cost worth it on this DVD / TV pair.
Overall, its a great DVD player, but I am going to get a blu ray. I wouldnt expect much out of this DVD player if you demand HD. However its a good pick for those demanding high quality DVD.
Customer Rating: Summary: Near perfection Comment: This is my third pioneer DVD player. I never had problems with pioneer, just replace the players because new features and convenience. This is a great player, full of options including upscalling via hdmi, usb input for photos, mp3 and divx video. With this terrific player I'll wait a couple of years to buy a blu-ray player for $100, from pioneer.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent upconvert player for under $100 Comment: I am impressed with the picture and features on this unit. I have it connected to my LN46A550 and it looks fantastic! After a brief set-up it was up and going with no hitches. It is connected with an HDMI cable.
