Customer Rating: Summary: Trinigirl's Audio/Visual Lounge Comment: Philips HTS3151D/37 300 Watt DVD 5.1Surround Sound Home Theatre System with Ipod Dock
This product was delivered to me with in 3 days ,
it's very easy to set up and it's all color coded , great sound for the price . I love the idea of an IPOD dock as there is no need for CDS , just dock and play and what's great is that you can flip through songs with the remote . I have have also hooked my XBOX to the system and I can now go on live and play in surround sound . I HIGHLY recommend this system to any one , for the features it comes with you could not have gotten a better buy for the price and it was shipped for FREE !
Thank you Amazon !
Customer Rating: Summary: Theatre system without the wallet crunch Comment: This is a good quality system for small area's. Good sound, easy to setup and a breeze to use.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ok Surround Sound System Comment: I bought this system for my new 42 inch HDTV. At first I thought there was something wrong with the speakers but later I released the patchy sound I was hearing was due to an old set of red and white audio cables. After that I was in surround sound heaven. The sound quality is AWESOME and watching Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan blew me out of my seat. I also play Xbox 360 and the specific 'Gaming' (how cool) setting in the equalizer makes my gaming experience 100 times better. Depending on if you are watching a DVD/TV or listening to music the equalizer gives you a range of options. My complaints are minor but frustrating non the less. You can tell the machine was made RIGHT when HD became available, it has only component video cables and does not have any digital audio (coaxial or optical) so you are stuck with standard red and white composite audio cables. Which means you don't get to experience high definition audio. The main middle speaker is just the same standard speaker and looks like the rest opposed to a double width ones on other systems. All around if you aren't a audiophile or have a standard def setup this system is SUPERB. Great price ad great quality.
Customer Rating: Summary: Value for Money Comment: This is a good system to buy. You get a good value for the money you spent. This is good for small to mid size rooms. Also comes with IPOD dock and speakers are small enough.
Customer Rating: Summary: DIVERSE & EASY TO USE Comment: This theater unit is a good price/quality. It plays CD's, DVD's, KARAOKE CD's, and MP3/WMA music. This particular 300 watt model is for a smaller room, like a den, office or dorm. It was very easy to set up and easy to use. Overall, an efficient device. The remote is very easy to navigate, yet does not have a backlight. This is why it only gets four stars.
