Summary: Vaios rock
Comment: I am very happy with my laptop. I knew I wanted a Vaio, and was willing to pay a little more. I feel that I got my moneys worth. I have a Vaio desktop that is pretty old, but still working great. I really wanted the fingerprint scanner. This is really handy logging in, but also can store passwords for websites. No more typing my log in and password, just a swipe of my finger. The laptop is light, and the screen is a just big enough size. So far I have had no problems at all with Vista. In fact, I am beginning to like it more than XP. (Sick of those Mac commercials trying to scare people.) The 3 gigs of RAM handle it fine. I use it alot for work, and haul it around everywhere. The bluetooth allows me to get a data connection on my cellphone. This has been a great, allowing me to bring my laptop while I tailgate before football games. It does not get too hot after long periods of using it. One feature that I wish it had was an HDMI port. The only negatives I can think of are the speakers. They are kinda weak, and do not give enough sound. I also wish that the battery life was a little better. Overall, still a great deal. I trust Sony quality, and feel that it is worth the few extra bucks.

Editorial Reviews:

Thin and light, the VAIO CR notebook balances portability with the ease of use common to a mainstream-sized PC. The spacious display offers the room required to conveniently create and view your documents. The large keyboard provides a user-friendly touch and feel that make for comfortable typing. In addition to its powerful processor technology, the VAIO CR notebook delivers a series of added performance features. This PC is built to handle a variety of tasks and provides ample storage for your files and multimedia. Enjoy the dedicated media controls and A/V mode for one-touch access to your music and movies without booting up - a convenient feature for long flights.
