Summary: Great Value for money
Comment: The performance and price of the MP620 make it a great buy. Wireless set-up is pretty straightforward if you follow the step by step instructions...which I only did because some reviewers had problems with set-up!
There seems to be a lot of bulky software that you will probably never use included on the CD and the scanning options seem limited. However, for a home user this machine produces FANTASTIC quality photos and will scan, print and copy in good time. A little bulky, but the fact that it is wireless and the paper tray is stored underneath keeps everything tidy.
I have owned and used several all-in-one machines and this one so far appearsa among the best for this price range...time wuill tell but right now I would definitly reccomend this to anyone doing more than printing a few documents occassionally.

Summary: Wireless setup with Mac v10.5
Comment: So far so good! Photographs look great, the print speed is pretty fast. I have tried scanning and copying, and both work well. My only problem initially was setting up the wireless feature with my Mac. The directions are fine, but the troubleshooting advice is not. There will come a point where your Mac is supposed to "find" the printer, the printer's name should appear in a list, and then you click "add" to add it to your computer. Well, the printer was not showing up on the list! If my USB was plugged in, the printer showed up. Once unplugged (as it's supposed to be during wireless setup), no printer in the list. After searching the web I found advice that worked. Click your Apple logo, go to System Preferences, Security, Firewall and change the setting to "Set access for specific services and applications." Now the printer should show up on the list and you can finish setup.
Hope this helps!

Summary: Good Printer
Comment: I bought this printer a couple weeks ago and set it up last week. The setup took about an hour and that includes the time it takes to download the software. It's pretty straightforward, but I have set up printers before, so that may have helped my case. I will say that I was startled by how large this printer is. I had an all-in-one HP printer before this one and it was much more compact, so it kind of took me by surprise (I did not pay attention to dimensions on the product details when I bought this). It's no big deal, just an observation. I had no problem setting up the wireless printing and the quality of prints seem excellent. All in all, I give it 4 stars since it's so soon and I want to see how long it will last before I reward 5 stars!

Summary: Good quality printer
Comment: Works well in all aspects. I wanted something compact and halfway decent looking. I like that the paper tray is hidden inside unless it is printing (doesn't stick out and catch dust). I've had Epson and HP all-in-ones before, and they died after a while. We shall see!

Summary: Very pleased
Comment: I got this to replace an HP printer, primarily to add a scanner function. Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time printing photos, so I can't review the photo print quality now.

I did find it straight forward to set up and use. I initially tried to use Airport Express, but since this does not support scanners, I started over and used the built-in wireless. This worked fine.

My favorite feature is the auto-opening out feed tray. You can close all of the trays for a clean look, and when you print it will open automatically. The LCD interface was easy to use, but I generally use the computer interface.

Editorial Reviews:

Print with complete wireless freedom with the Canon PIXMA MP620 Photo All-In-One Printer, via WiFi. Or, network it via Ethernet cable and print from a wired computer in another room. Print photos directly from memory cards, previewing and enhancing images on the 2.5" TFT display. Or, print from a compatible digital camera or camera phone, even a Bluetooth device via the optional BU-30 Bluetooth interface. This printer produces long-lasting 4" x 6" photos with 9600 x 2400 color dpi resolution in about 41 seconds, and its 5-color ink system ensures vivid, true-to-life colors and bold, black text. Copies will be more faithful to your originals, and your scans will yield 2400 x 4800 color dpi results.
