2.4GHz Is not bad
FAST 400GB HDD , WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE and the screen is sexy with the res 1920x1200
i dont agree with that guy who said about the restore cd and stuff
u get the CD with the laptop and u have it on ur D drive Recovery Drive and you can Burn it on a disc any time
now .. lets talk about what things i didnt like on it :
when playing Crysis or any other game with high graphix .. the 8800 GTS gets hot !! u need to open the bottom vents and it will be cool :D
another thing .. the laptop these days is getting HOT !! .. under the laptop .. i think its from the HDD ? i dunno .. it wasnt like that .. and now im not blocking any holding it and typing to get let it cool down :))
Customer Rating: Summary: Hate having support? Buy a Gateway. Comment: We bought a Gateway and Windows got hosed for some reason. We called 1-800-GATEWAY for support. Guess what? If you buy a Gateway anywhere but their website you must call a separate toll number. WTF!? Then we needed to restore it but the restore partition was bad. Had to get the recovery disk. They charged me $20 for a $1 CD-R. Then it wouldn't work, and they wanted to charge me to tell me how to use it. Again WTF? These people are horrible. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get a Mac. Get HP. Get an abacus. Anything but Gateway.
