Summary: Blue Screen on the LCD Display
Comment: I received the HP Photosmart C6380 as a Christmas gift. Out of the box the setup was pretty standard, that is until I got to the wireless setup. It detected my network ID and I entered my WEP password and all was well until it started printing the diagnostic page. The LCD screen turned blue with an error code displayed, B057D1D4, and the printer was completely locked up. I spent a few hours with technical support doing resets with no solution. After a while they kept trying to connect me to their Lead Stream department but they were too busy and unable to connect me on three different occasions.

I decided to investigate further. I noticed that after I unplugged the unit and reset it, everything came up fine until the wireless light turned on, then 5 seconds later it would freeze. I figured it was a problem with the wireless functionality communicating with my router. Then I came across a review here on Amazon that described the exact same problem I was having and in that particular review, they mentioned their router being a 2wire DLS modem which is the same as mine. I tried reseting the unit again and before the wireless light came on I quickly navigated to the wireless settings and reset them to the factory default. Sure enough the computer functioned as normal after that.

So I concluded that I could use the printer normally by connecting it to my PC via USB but I am taking it back because the wireless functionality is useless with my router. So a word to the wise, if you are using a 2wire wireless router, I would not recommend this printer at all.

Summary: Great Printer for Great Price
Comment: Not to familiar with computers and found that this printer was very easy to hook up and use. Terrific price on a real work horse. Beautiful color prints. Couldn't be happier and enjoy HP brand.

Summary: Great Wireless Printer
Comment: Great printer. I had it set up within 30 minutes. It prints quickly and beautifully from my macbook. Pictures look like they came from the photo lab.

Only downsides are the length of time it takes to settle after you turn it on (that part is also really loud!) and the HP Photosmart Studio software that comes with it. I tried editing a few photos but after every 3rd photo or so, the program would freeze up and have to be forced to quit. So I downloaded a different photo editor and no longer use the Photosmart program.

Overall, I really love this printer and would recommend it.

Summary: Great Printer!
Comment: We gave this printer as a Christmas present to our son-in-law who set-it-HP Photosmart All-In-One Printer - Sliver ( C6380 ) up with no problems in approximately 30 minutes including the wireless feature. He immediately began scanning and printing pictures of our grandsons and I had a difficult time determining the originals from the ones he made with the printer. I was extremely impressed with the ease of set-up because my son-in-law is not a "techie" (Golf Course Superintendent) and had no problems at all with setting-up the printer. As we made the purchase on Black Friday, the price was fantastically low. My only regret is not purchasing another one for our home!

Summary: Great personal office machine
Comment: Great personal office machine. It prints quickly with great quality. I use the scan to memory drive feature regularly, as well. The only issue I had was the black ink cartridge ran out rather quickly. I am trying the XL version to see how much it improves.
