Summary: 360 bundle=good buy
Comment: Well, so far I've had a good experience with my Xbox 360. Just like a lot of other people who have purchased, or have thought of buying one, I wasvery worried about getting the damned Red Ring of Death. On the first day I got it, I went on to play on it with my family for over 14 hours (no joke) and not a single problem with it. This Xbox 360 does not have the new chipset, which is set to come out later in 2009, but this one seems to have decreased the chance, if not completely eliminated the chance of getting the Red Ring. My Xbox 360 is usually on for more than 5 hours a day and it seems to run perfectly. I heard that the main reason for the overheating problem was caused by the spinning game disc, so to avoid that, I downloaded the NXE ("New Xbox Experience", an update that allows you to install your games on to the Xbox 360's hard drive disk.) Gameplay on the 360 is going very well for me.

The only problem I'm having is signing into Xbox Live and connecting my computer to my Xbox (it's been over a month since I've had it, and I still can't get it to work consistently. I don't know if this is a common or uncommon problem). I can sometimes connect to live gameplay, but I can't create my own account, so instead I just use my friendly neighboor's account.

We didn't think the games that were included would be any fun.... THey looked kindda "cheesy".... but they actually are full, fun games.
The xbox works fantastic....NO complaints! Fun, Fun, Fun

Summary: The problem with bundles
Comment: Mind you, I'm writing this as an adult who likes to play video games with his kids.

We've been holding off on buying a console until our kids were at least 6 (and I had to do some serious convincing for my wife to allow it this early). Let's be honest and admit that the X-Box 360 was as much for me as the kids. I was happy to see a bundle that came with two games, one of which was a Lego title. My kids love Legos and they ended up getting the Legos Star Wars Complete saga as well.

I can't speak highly enough of the Indiana Jones Lego game. It is a fun title for adults and kids alike. The violence is confined to lego pieces being broken apart, so it is appropriate for children. If you're a fan of the movies or Legos, you will enjoy the game. Every level has puzzles to complete that are intriguing, but not overly difficult.

I'm not a huge fan of the Kung Fu Panda title. Only one person can play at a time, which is not great for households with multiple kids. The storyline is very linear as well. However, this is to be expected from bundles - you get one good title and one title that is filler.

Comment: My son received this for Christmas and he loves it. A true video gamer, this boy knows his stuff. If he likes this game system, trust me it rocks.
